Speaking of the story, Manoj Mitra said, "I would have felt even better if Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Monu Mukhopadhyay were among us now. Soumitra-da was reluctant to work on comedy. The play based on this story was well accepted on stage."
The music of the film has been done by Joy Sarkar.
The songs have been sung by Lopamudra Mitra, Srikanta Acharya, Rupankar Bagchi and Anweshaa.
