Goa: Actor Randeep Hooda, who played the titular role of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and directed the film, said that he had to take it upon himself to put Veer Savarkar’s real story in the public discourse.
Interacting with the media along with the other team members of the biographical drama 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, Hooda described Savarkar as an ‘unsung hero’ of India.
