Seven Tripura cops named for president’s police medals
Seven Tripura police personnel have been selected for Police Medal for distinguished service and Police medal for meritorious service on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of Republic Day.
This year, the President’s police medal for distinguished service will be given to Additional DGP (Law and Order) Saurabh Tripathi.
For the President's Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of R-Day-2023 include SP (SC & EO) Bhanupada Chakraborty, assistant commandant of 13th battalion TSR Amal Debbarma, Dy.SP(Security) Kamal Sukla Das, Subedar(GD) Hemant Bist of 3rd battalion TSR, Subedar (GD) Manindra Bardhan of 3rd battalion TSR and Sub-Inspector (UB) Asis Kumar Das of North Tripura district
Besides, Home Guard Ataur Rahman and women Home Guard Smt. Swapna Datta (Marak) has also been awarded with the President Home Guard and Civil Defence medal for meritorious service.
