Exavalu said the expanded Kolkata facility would serve as its delivery and operations headquarters in India, supporting clients across the United States, Canada and other international markets. Exavalu Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is the wholly owned Indian subsidiary of US-based Exavalu Inc.

"The new, expanded facility in Kolkata marks a significant milestone in Exavalu's continued growth in India. The company currently operates delivery centres in Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad, supported by a remote workforce across India.

"We have plans to double our workforce across India over the next year," Das added.

In a message from the company's US headquarters, Saurav Basu, President and CEO of Exavalu, said the investment reflected confidence in Kolkata's technology ecosystem.

As organisations accelerate AI-driven business transformation, we are creating an environment where talented professionals can innovate, collaborate and build rewarding careers while delivering measurable business outcomes for our clients worldwide," Basu said.

The Kolkata centre will focus on building capabilities in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data and analytics, enterprise integration, quality engineering, consulting and insurance technologies, strengthening Exavalu's services for insurers and other regulated industries globally.
