The couple, from Rajasthan, already have five children — four daughters and one son. Despite this, they decided to expand their family once again.
During the interaction, the woman told the doctor, “We are only having girls and a single boy. We need another boy.”
Surprisingly, her husband claimed that having just one son would not be “enough” to support the family.
Their remarks quickly sparked an online debate over son preference and deep-rooted gender bias.
The doctor warned the couple about the serious health risks associated with repeated pregnancies at such a young age.
Sharing the video online, Dr Tomar wrote: “Is it right to ruin someone’s life in the desperate pursuit of a son? Aged just 22, on her sixth pregnancy — all in the quest for a male heir! The story of this couple from Rajasthan will leave you absolutely stunned.”

The video has since gone viral on social media, drawing widespread criticism.
One internet user slammed the father of five, writing: “Look at the husband’s condition, and yet he says his wife doesn’t want to continue his lineage. Why continue it when you can’t even afford proper food, shelter, and clothing for your family?”
Another user commented: “She became a mother before becoming an adult.”
“A boy won’t fix this,” wrote another, echoing growing criticism over the couple’s decision.
