CKK Eduveda and Fur Ball Story unveil world’s first Ayurvedic veterinary course series
New Delhi: In a global first, CKK Eduveda and Fur Ball Story have launched a structured series of courses on Ayurveda for animals, marking a milestone in integrating ancient wisdom with modern veterinary science.

The launch event, held at The Suryaa, New Delhi, was co-hosted by the Association of Manufacturers of Ayurvedic Medicines (AMAM).
Founded by Dr. Chandra Kant Katiyar, Adviser and former CEO (Healthcare) of Emami Group, CKK Eduveda partnered with Fur Ball Story—India’s leading Ayurvedic veterinary healthcare brand—to design the world’s first standardized Ayurvedic veterinary curriculum.
The initiative is strategically supported by Emami Ltd., which has been an investor in Fur Ball Story since 2022.
The courses aim to empower both veterinarians and pet parents.
For pet owners, the program introduces a holistic approach to animal well-being through prakriti analysis, dietary and lifestyle management, and the use of easily available herbs for preventive care.
For veterinary professionals, the curriculum offers in-depth training in tridosha theory, disease pathogenesis, Ayurvedic pharmacotherapeutics, and practical product validation techniques.
The event drew participation from veterinarians, Ayurvedic practitioners, and pet owners across India, highlighting the growing demand for structured education and credible Ayurvedic veterinary products.
Among the event’s highlights were endorsements from Dr. Pradeep Multani, President of AMAM; Dr. Kaustubha Upadhyay, Advisor, Ministry of AYUSH; and Dr. Pradeep Prajapati, Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda.
Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Dr. Mohan Ji Saxena, Mr. R.K. Agarwal, and Dr. Sudhir Verma for their contributions to Ayurvedic advancement.
The program also aligns with the Ministry of AYUSH’s vision to expand the global Ayurvedic market from USD 43 billion to USD 200 billion within the next decade, with veterinary applications as a key growth segment.
Dr. Katiyar said the courses are designed for global outreach, empowering veterinarians, practitioners, and pet owners through a blend of traditional and scientific knowledge.
Fur Ball Story Co-Founder Animesh Katiyar added, “This initiative complements modern veterinary science with time-tested Ayurvedic wisdom. It’s not about replacing—it’s about expanding possibilities in animal care through integrative, compassionate, and scientifically grounded solutions.”
The courses will open for global enrollment on Dhanvantari Jayanti (October 18, 2025), ushering in a new era of evidence-based Ayurvedic veterinary education.
