The three-day conclave, scheduled to run from October 27 to 29, will provide a platform for experts from India and abroad to deliberate on emerging technologies, research priorities and the country’s science, technology and innovation landscape.

Discussions across 12 key areas

The conclave will feature deliberations across 12 thematic areas, covering fields such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, advanced materials, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, climate and ocean sciences.

Discussions will examine research priorities, the development of national capabilities and ways to translate scientific advances into practical applications.

The programme will bring together participants from academia, research institutions, industry, startups and policymaking circles.

The event is expected to facilitate exchanges on emerging scientific developments and their potential applications across different sectors.

Exhibition to showcase Indian innovation

A technology and innovation exhibition will form a key part of the conclave, showcasing indigenous scientific achievements and emerging technologies.

The exhibition will feature around 150 stalls representing deep-tech startups, highlighting technological developments and their potential applications across sectors.

Visitors will also be able to engage with scientific developments through thematic videos, technology demonstrations, documentaries and informational kiosks.

Augmented reality and virtual reality experiences will further demonstrate emerging technologies and their real-world applications.

These displays will provide an opportunity to explore developments in science and technology alongside the discussions taking place during the three-day event.

Global connect to foster research partnerships

The conclave will also introduce the Global Connect Networking Event, which will bring together more than 300 invited participants from academia, research institutions and industry in India and overseas.

The initiative will provide a platform for exploring international research partnerships and strengthening collaboration between industry and academic institutions.

It will also focus on pathways for translating innovations developed in laboratories into market-ready applications, connecting research capabilities with industry requirements.

The networking event is expected to bring together stakeholders from different parts of the research and innovation ecosystem to discuss opportunities for collaboration.

Focus on science and tech priorities

Through its thematic discussions, exhibition and networking initiatives, the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave 2026 will bring together key stakeholders to examine developments across a broad range of scientific and technological fields.

The event will run at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from October 27 to 29, with Modi scheduled to inaugurate the conclave and address participants on the opening day.
