Arms recovered in in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara
Security forces on Tuesday recovered arms and narcotics near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
The recovery was made close to the LoC in the Keran sector.
Police said, based on a specific input, a team of Kupwara police recovered arms and narcotics from Keran Payeen.
“The recovery included an AK-47 rifle, two AK magazines, and 10 packets of narcotics-like substances,” police said.
Officials said a person identified as Mohammad Amin Lone of Naga Mandiyan was picked up for questioning.
