Bengal LoP Suvendu Adhikari's convoy attacked in Cooch Behar, TMC rejects BJP's 'assault' charge
Kolkata/IBNS: West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari's convoy was attacked in Cooch Behar allegedly by Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers, media reports said.

The TMC has denied any role in the attack, stating it had only raised black flags against the LoP.
Adhikari said his convoy was attacked while he was on the way to SP's office to submit a deputation on the "deteriorating law and order in Cooch Behar" with the permission from the Calcutta High Court.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claimed TMC workers carrying party flags as well as black flags gathered when Adhikari's convoy was passing through Khagrabari.
The windows of at least one car in the convoy was shattered. The LoP claimed he survived because of his bullet-proof car.
Training his guns at the TMC, Adhikari wrote on X, "This shameful attack exposes two stark truths:- The complete collapse of Law and Order in Cooch Behar district and entire West Bengal, where even the Leader of the Opposition is targeted while complying with a High Court Order, where the State Administration was completely aware of my schedule.
"Mamata Banerjee’s desperation as she senses her grip on Bengal is slipping away. She believes violence can intimidate me and restrict my movement. She is gravely mistaken."
Today, my convoy was brazenly attacked at Khagrabari More; Cooch Behar district, while I was en route to the SP’s Office, as mandated by the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, to submit a deputation regarding the deteriorating law and order in Cooch Behar.
