BSF jawan prevents Bangladeshi nationals from entering India illegally with his passionate appeal
An Indian Border Security Force jawan maintained his calm and composure in dealing with a large number of Bangladeshi citizens who were trying to take refuge in the neighbouring nation amid ongoing turmoil in the country which even forced former PM Sheikh Hasina to escape from Dhaka.
In a video which has now gone viral on social media, the jawan could be seen addressing the crowd in Bengali and informing them they would not be allowed to enter India illegally until a solution is reached with Bangladesh following discussions.
In the presence of a large number of Bangladeshi citizens who were seeking refuge in India amid the ongoing violence and radicals targeting minority houses and temples, the BSF personnel could be heard saying: "Listein to me first, we all know the problem you all are facing in your country. But do you think we can allow you all to cross the border like this? There will be discussions and we will see what steps could be taken to ensure your safety."
"Our seniors are here and they are discussing the matter. You all can understand that a solution to the ongoing problem cannot be reached within an hour or two. I am requesting you on behalf of our country to return back right now."
This video of a #BSF officer calmly explaining to Bangladeshis why they can't enter India illegally is heartbreaking, inspirational & reassuring all at once.

Some people from the crowd could be heard saying that they should be allowed to enter India since they feared their houses would be torched.
According to reports, the BSF recently sent back over one thousand people who assembled along the India-Bangla border in the Cooch Behar district of West Bengal on Friday.
They were reportedly trying to enter India from Nkhoaeesh.
Sources in the BSF had earlier told The Indian Express that the men began gathering on the Bangladeshi side in Golenaohati Gram Panchayat under Sitalkuchi police station, in Sitalkuchi block, Cooch Behar district on Friday morning.
By afternoon, a mob of around 1,000 people tried to cross the zero point and even walked on the Khurpa Nallah on the Indo-Bangla border, the newspaper reported.
India on Friday said it has formed a committee that will monitor the current situation on the Indo-Bangladesh Border (IBB) in the wake of the violence that the neighbouring nation is witnessing and even led to the fall of the former PM Sheikh Hasina-led government.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah posted on X: " In the wake of the ongoing situation in Bangladesh, the Modi government has constituted a committee to monitor the current situation on the Indo-Bangladesh Border (IBB)."
Shah said the committee will maintain communication channels with their counterpart authorities in Bangladesh to ensure the safety and security of Indian nationals, Hindus, and other minority communities living in the country
"The committee will be headed by the ADG, Border Security Force, Eastern Command," Shah said.
Signalling the beginning of a new era after 15 years of Sheikh Hasina's regime, Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus took oath as the head of the interim government in Bangladesh on Thursday.
Former PM Sheikh Hasina was forced to quit and escape to India on Monday amid violent protests which left hundreds of people dead in the country.
