Chhattisgarh journalist murder: Victim's heart was ripped out, had 15 fractures to head, a broken neck; accused arrested
Raipur/IBNS: The autopsy of independent journalist from Chhattisgarh, Mukesh Chandrakar, whose body was found in a septic tank on Friday after going missing since January 1, revealed the victim's heart was ripped out, had 15 fractures to his head and a broken neck, media reports said.

Doctors found four pieces of the 28-year-old victim, who was allegedly murdered brutally by a contractor named Suresh Chandrakar.
The victim's body was found in a septic tank which was found newly sealed. The body was found in the yard of the contractor, who was arrested by a Special Investigation Team [SIT] from Hyderabad on Sunday.
Mukesh Chandrakar's body was identified with his clothes. His body was swollen and he had injuries in head and neck.
Police tracked down the body based on the victim's last mobile location.
Mukesh was allegedly murdered by Suresh after the journalist had exposed the contractor's alleged corruption.
Mukesh left his home on January 1 wearing a t-shirt and shorts but soon his phone was found switched off.
When he did not return, the journalist's brother Yukesh Chandrakar started searching for him at friends' places and throughout the city.
Later, Yukesh Chandrakar, who is also a journalist, filed a missing complaint.
Known for his fearless reporting, Mukesh Chandrakar used to run a YouTube channel named Bastar Junction where he dealt with issues related to the Bastar region.
