Death threat issued against Yogi Adityanath, message asks him to resign within 10 days
Mumbai/IBNS: The Mumbai Police has received a death threat against Yogi Adityanath stating that he will be murdered "like Baba Siddique" unless he stepped down as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister within 10 days, media reports said.

Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra East, Mumbai, on October 12.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang had claimed responsibility for killing Baba Siddique, who was shot dead by three men during Dussehra.
Soon after the killing of Siddique, the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang also issued a death threat to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
The Mumbai Police received a string of death threats for Salman Khan of which one message even asked for Rs. 5 crore and claimed that if the money was not paid, Salman's fate would be worse than that of Baba Siddique.
The death threat for Yogi Adityanath was received on a WhatsApp helpline number of the Mumbai Traffic Police control room on Saturday evening.
The message claimed to kill Yogi Adiyanath "like Baba Siddique" if he did not resign in 10 days.
Mumbai Police is probing the matter and trying to track down the number's owner from which the threat was sent.
This death threat comes amid several death threats issued to Salman Khan demanding ransom.
Salman's security has been further heightened after the fresh threat.
The actor, who was a close friend of Baba Siddique, had his security escalated after the politician's murder. Salman is also not allowing anyone inside his residence now.
After Siddique's murder, one of the Bishnoi gang members shared a post on Facebook where he hinted at Siddique's close ties with Salman and links to underworld people that cost him his life.
On the night of April 14, gunfire shook Mumbai's Bandra neighbourhood when two men on motorbikes fired multiple rounds outside Salman Khan's residence.
The attackers, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, were charged with conspiracy to murder and other serious crimes.
