Firecracker unit explosion in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar kills 6
Chennai/IBNS: Six people were killed in an explosion which took place at a firecracker unit in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar on Saturday, media reports said.

The injured were rushed to hospital.
Police, firefighters and rescuers were rushed to the site where the explosion occurred.
At least four rooms were flattened by the explosion, which is suspected to have taken place during the process of mixing chemicals.
The probe into the cause of the explosion is underway.
