Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces gun down terrorist who was involved in killing of doctor, workers in Ganderbal
Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday said the terrorist, who was involved in the killing of six workers and a doctor at a housing camp of a private company Ganderbal, has been shot dead during an encounter.

He was killed during an encounter which took place in the upper reaches of Dachigam forest.
He was identified as Junaid Ahmed Bhat.
He reportedly belonged to the Pakistan-origin Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group.
Confirming the death of the terrorist, Kashmir Zone Police posted on X: "#OPDachigam: In the ongoing operation, one #terrorist is killed and has been identified as Junaid Ahmed Bhat ( LeT, Category A). The said terrorist was involved in civilians killing at Gagangir, Ganderbal and several other terror attacks."
At least seven employees, including a Kashmiri doctor, were killed on October 20 evening in a terror attack on a workers' camp near the tourist resort of Sonamarg on the strategic Srinagar-Leh highway.
During the attack, five other workers were also injured.
