J&K cop injured, gangster killed in Kathua shootout
Jammu/IBNS/UNI: A probationary sub-inspector suffered critical injuries while one gangster was killed in a late evening shootout on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district.
The shootout as per police sources was reported when a police team conducted raids on some wanted criminals in a murder case.
Police, however, in a message said that the firing incident took place at 10:35 PM between police and gangsters in Government Medical College Kathua.
In a shootout, they said that one PSI Deepak Sharma got injured and one gangster died.
Further details awaited, police added.
