Justice will be delivered: LG Manoj Sinha on Rajouri attacks
Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said that justice will be delivered in the case regarding the incidents of firing and IED explosion in Rajouri district in which six people including two kids were killed.
Sinha, who visited the families of those killed in attacks in village Dhangri on Monday expressed solidarity with them and said, “Justice will be delivered and we assure that the administration and police will go to the bottom of the case and ensure justice to the families of the deceased.”
“The Government of India is committed to zero tolerance against terrorism while ex-servicemen and VDCs will be strengthened further and the government will take more measures to augment the security structure,” said Sinha.
He however, ordered a probe to ascertain reasons for the incident.
Talking to reporters, LG said that the administration will ensure the families of those killed are taken care of by all means.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh also visited the families and stated that police and security forces were working to trace the culprits who are behind the killing of innocents and the perpetrators of the crime will be punished very soon.
“Our efforts are to neutralize those involved in the act. We will catch them as soon as possible,” the DGP said.
Four civilians were killed and seven were injured in a firing incident at Rajouri on Sunday while two children were killed and four others injured in an IED explosion at the same firing spot on Monday morning.
