Maharashtra: Father chops his addicted son into pieces
Sangli: In a shocking incident, a father allegedly killed his addicted son with an axe and then chopped the corpse into pieces using a cutter before surrendering to the police in Maharashtra’s Sangli district on Friday.
According to the police, Rajendra Yallappa Handifod (50) was fed up with the daily feud with his son Rohit (30), a drunkard, at Miraj Tehsil town.
The deceased demanded his father transfer agricultural land and house in his name.
Unable to take the daily trouble anymore, Rajendra, a resident of Ganesh Tank Laxmi Mandir, Miraj town, murdered Rohit with the axe.
He then sliced the dead body into pieces using a cutter, put them in a bag, and threw it into a tank.
Then he produced himself before the Miraj city police in police station.
Miraj city police were investigating the case.
