Passenger vehicle falls into gorge in Jammu and Kashmir, several feared dead
Several people were feared dead after a passenger vehicle fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on Wednesday, officials said.
They said a passenger cab was on its way from Boniyaar to Bujithala village in the border area of Uri.
The cab with at least nine passengers on board skidded off the road and felt into a deep gorge, an official said. adding "We fear death in the accident."
Police and civil officials have rushed to the spot.
