PM Modi likely to visit US on Feb 12, hold talks with Donald Trump: Reports

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit the United States on Feb 12, NDTV reported quoting the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) sources.
This would be PM Modi's first visit to the US after President Donald Trump's historic comeback to the White House.
According to the travel plan, as revealed by sources, PM Modi will fly to Washington DC after his two-day visit to Paris.
There is no official announcement yet.
If confirmed, PM Modi will be among a handful of foreign leaders to meet Donald Trump within weeks of his inauguration.
PM Modi is travelling to Paris to attend the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit on February 10 and 11.
PM Modi's US visit, if it happens, would be amid concerns in India over Donald Trump's approach on immigration and tariffs.
Last week, PM Modi congratulated his "dear friend Donald Trump on his historic second term" during a telephone conversation.
PM Modi underscored that New Delhi remains committed to a "mutually beneficial and trusted partnership" with Washington.
