Rajasthan: BSF shoots down Pakistani drone in Srikaranpur, drug smuggling attempt foiled
The Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday shot down a Pakistani drone at Srikaranpur area in Rajasthan, foiling an international drug smuggling attempt.
As per BSF Rajasthan, on the intervening night between October 12 and 13, alert BSF troops intercepted a Pakistani drone that violated Indian airspace and shot it down, reported ANI.
During a search of the area, one packet of heroin weighing approximately 2.2 kg was recovered, BSF said.

The value of the seized drug has been estimated to be worth Rs 12 crore in the international market.
According to reports, the Pakistani drone was found in completely damaged condition.
