Ram Navami: 'Surya Tilak' illuminates Ram Lalla idol's forehead in Ayodhya Ram Temple
Ayodhya/IBNS: 'Surya Tilak' or Sun's rays illuminated Ram Lalla idol's forehead in the Ram Temple on the occasion of Ram Navami on Wednesday.
The illumination occurred with the help of mirrors and lenses.

Pooja was performed at Ayodhya's Ram Temple for the first time since Ram Lalla's idol was installed in a grand ceremony in January this year.
The idol is placed at 'garbh griha' in the temple.
A special train from Gorakhpur to Ayodhya has been given by the Railway Ministry anticipating a heavy footfall of devotees in Ram Temple.

In the morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on X, "The first Ram Navami after the Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya is a generational milestone, weaving together centuries of devotion with a new era of hope and progress. This is a day crores of Indians waited for. Innumerable people devoted their lives to this sacred cause.
"May the blessings of Prabhu Shri Ram always remain upon us and guide our paths towards righteousness and peace, illuminating our lives with wisdom and courage."

In an elaborate arrangement, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated Ram Temple and installed Ram Lalla's idol on January 22 ending the long dispute over the land in Ayodhya.
The temple was built following the Supreme Court's 2019 order which paved the way for the construction of Ram Temple in the disputed site.
Several film personalities- from Amitabh Bachchan to Rajinikanth to Alia Bhatt- industrialists like Mukesh Ambani, cricketers Sachin Tendulkar Anil Kumble had graced the occasion of Ram Temple consecration.
