Repeating Pune horror: Elderly man dies in Noida after speeding Audi hits him, CCTV captures moment
In a repetition of the Pune horror, a 64-year-old man died after he was hit by a speeding Audi car in Noida on Sunday.
The deceased person was identified as Janak Dev Shah.
According to reports, the incident occurred at 6.30 am near Kanchenjunga Apartment in Noida's Sector 24 area when the victim was crossing the road.
The CCTV footage fo the incident has gone viral.
In the video, the man could be seen crossing the road when a speeding car hit him.

The incident comes days after outrage over the deaths of two techies in #Pune after a speeding Porsche driven by a drunk teen rammed them.

Due to the impact of the collision, the man flung several feet up in the air before landing on the ground.
Police later reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem.
"On May 26, at around 6.30 am, Janak Dev Shah, a resident of Gijhoud village near Primary School, Sector 53, Gautam Buddha Nagar, was hit by an unknown white car driven at high speed in the Sector 24 police station area. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The body has been taken into custody by Sector 24 police and a postmortem has been conducted. An FIR has been registered based on a complaint. CCTV footage is being checked, and further necessary action is being taken," an official of the Noida Police was quoted as saying by India Today.
The incident occurred at a time when Pune witnessed a horrifying incident where a teen rammed his speeding Porsche into a two-wheeler and killed two people.
