Saif Ali Khan’s health insurance provider reveals his claim amount for hospital expenses
Mumbai: Actor Saif Ali Khan has filed a health insurance claim worth Rs 35.95 lakh, India Today reported.

The actor is currently receiving treatment at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital after being stabbed by an intruder.
The amount of Rs 25 lakh has been approved by Niva Bupa, with the remaining balance to be settled once the final treatment bills are submitted.
Details from Saif’s health insurance claim have surfaced on social media, revealing the treatment costs and a probable discharge date.
The document specifies that the actor is staying in a suite at the hospital and may be discharged on January 21, 2025.
However, sources have informed India Today that an earlier discharge on January 20 is possible if his vitals remain stable.
The family has requested the hospital to withhold further updates about Saif’s condition, citing the intense scrutiny surrounding the incident.
In a statement, Niva Bupa remarked, "The recent unfortunate incident with actor Saif Ali Khan is deeply concerning. We wish him a speedy and safe recovery. A cashless pre-authorisation request was sent to us upon his hospitalisation, and we have given approval of an initial amount to start the treatment. Once we receive the final bills post the complete treatment, it will be settled as per policy terms and conditions."
Saif sustained six stab wounds, including one to the spine, while defending himself against a burglar at his Bandra residence early Thursday morning.
He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, located 2 km from his home, by his seven-year-old son Taimur and a domestic helper.
Doctors performed surgery to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid, confirming that the actor is now out of danger.
Meanwhile, police have intensified their search for the attacker, who remains at large three days after the incident, which has left the film industry in shock.
