Moosewala was ambushed and shot down at Jawarharke village in Mansa on May 29 last year.
The 28-year-old rapper was driving a Mahindra Thar when his assailants showered bullets at his SUV, inflicting multiple bullet injuries.
Moosewala had unsuccessfully contested the 2022 Punjab elections on Congress' ticket.
Thirty-one people including gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar have been arrested. Twenty-five people have been arrested.
Goldy Brar is a key member of a gang run by Lawrence Bishnoi with whom he has been friends since 2010, their college politics days.
Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged in jail for many years. When Moosewala was murdered in May last year, he was in Tihar Jail- from where he allegedly ran his gang.
