Terrorist hideout busted in J&K’s Ramban, arms, ammo recovered
Jammu/IBNS/UNI: The security forces on Friday recovered a haul of arms and ammunition from a hideout busted in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that acting on reliable information about the presence of a cache of arms, ammunition and other war like stores in the Khari forest area, security forces launched a search operation.
During the search operation they said that a terrorist hideout was busted and a huge haul of arms and ammunition was recovered.
The recovery included 113 - 7.62 mm AK 47 Rounds, two - 9mm Rounds (rusted condition), seven - 7.62 mm Sniper Rounds, five - PIKA Rounds, one - PIKA Belt, three - AK-47 Magazines (rusted condition), three - Chinese Grenades, one - Pakistani Grenade, two - UBGL, 300 grams of explosives, one - FM Transistor, two - Fuses and two - Detonators.
“A under relevant section has been registered and investigation started,” police added
