Virat Kohli's Ranji Trophy comeback draws plump crowd in Delhi stadium
New Delhi/IBNS: Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli's return to Ranji Trophy has left the Arun Jaitley Stadium massively crowded in a rare view from a domestic match in the country.
Kohli has returned to domestic cricket after 12 years in a bid to regain his lost form playing for Delhi against Railways.
The former India captain's presence has undoubtedly boosted his home team which are aiming to conclude the season on a high with a victory over Railways.
However, thousands of people who are present in the stadium are more eager to see Kohli bat. The crowd have also chanted "Kohli ko bowling do" wishing to see their favourite player in action.

Unfortunately for the fans, Railways are batting on day one with the visitors reeling after early loss of wickets.
Kohli had opted out of the previous match against Saurashtra over a neck sprain.
Like several of his teammates including India captain Rohit Sharma, Kohli returned to domestic cricket after the Indian board BCCI acted tough on several players over the poor form in recent times.
Kohli was one of the senior players who failed to perform in Australia where the national side suffered a crushing 1-3 defeat in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
The 36-year-old started off the Australia tour with a century in the inaugural Test but ended up scoring only 191 runs in nine innings.
