We will leave for US tomorrow: Father of Indian student Neelam Shinde after urgent visa grant
Mumbai/IBNS: Tanaji Shinde, the father of Indian student Neelam Shinde who is in coma after suffering an accident in California, said he will leave for the United States on Saturday, media reports said.

Tanaji Shinde was granted an urgent visa after the External Affairs Ministry took up the matter with the US for granting of an urgent visa.
Shinde thanked the central government, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Nationalist Congress Party (SP) MP Supriya Sule for helping him out.
Speaking to ANI, he said, "We have got the Visa, and we will be going (to the US) tomorrow. Both, Maharashtra and Central governments heard us and we got the Visa...
"When CM Devendra Fadnavis came to know about the incident, he helped us get the Visa. Everyone, including Supriya Sule, helped us..."

Nilam Shinde, 35, suffered an accident in California on February 14.
She suffered injuries on her chest and head after a four-wheeler hit her.
Flagging the issue, Supriya Sule requested External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to help Shinde's family with the visa.
Shinde's family said she suffered fractures in hands and legs.
Shinde's father, who is in Maharashtra's Satara, said he was trying to book slots for visas but was only getting slots for the next year.
