Deepika Padukone shines in black gown introducing Naatu Naatu at Oscars 2023
Los Angeles: Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone held the flag of Indian cinema high while presenting the performance of the Naatu Naatu song from Telugu film RRR on the stage of Oscars 2023 on Sunday.
Deepika looked gorgeous in an off-shoulder black gown as she walked on the stage and presented the performance on the now Academy Award winning song Naatu Naatu.
Presenting the song, Deepika said, "In addition to being sung in Telugu and illustrating the film's anti-colonial themes, it's also a total banger..."
"Do you know Naatu? Because if you don't, you're about to. From the film RRR, this is Naatu Naatu," she added.

In a proud moment for India at the Oscars 2023, the massively popular Naatu Naatu song from Telugu language film RRR and Tamil short documentary film The Elephant Whisperers won the 95th Academy Awards in two different categories.
The Elephant Whisperers was the first honour for India on Sunday evening as it won in the Best Documentary Short Subject category.
Later, Naatu Naatu surpassed other nominations to win in the Best Original Song category.
The Oscars was awarded to composer MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose.
