Deepika Padukone to play lady cop in Singham 3, confirms Rohit Shetty
Bollywood leading actor Deepika Padukone will be the first lady cop in filmmaker Rohit Shetty's cop universe Singham 3.
Rohit has confirmed the news on Thursday at the launch of Current Laga Re song from upcoming film Cirkus.
Rohit told the mediapersons who were present at the launch, "We are making Singham next. Everyone kept asking me who is the lady cop in my universe.
"So today, let me confirm that Deepika Padukone will be the lady Singham, the lady cop in Singham 3. We start shooting next year."
Deepika had earlier worked with Rohit in the massively popular film Chennai Express, which also starred superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
