First look of Soumitrisha Kundu's web debut Kaalratri unveiled
Kolkata/IBNS: The first look of actress Soumitrisha Kundu's web debut Kaalratri was unveiled by Hoichoi on Monday.
The first look shows Soumitrisha’s mesmerizing portrayal of Debi, a bride-to-be entangled in a gripping mystery.
The story begins amidst the vibrant setting of Debi’s Gaaye Holud, a traditional pre-wedding ceremony filled with joy, music, and rituals.
Soumitrisha dazzles in the first look, embodying a bride glowing with anticipation yet shadowed by foreboding unease.
The series is written and directed by Ayan Chakraborti.
Joining her in this series are Indrasish Ray, Rajdeep Gupta, Rupanjana Mitra, Sairity Banerjee, Anujoy Chattopadhyay, among others, all of whom bring their unique talent to this ensemble.
Soumitrisha, who made her film debut last year with Pradhan after gaining prominence on television, earlier shared her excitement about the project saying, "Kaalratri is a special project for me, as it marks my web debut, that too, with hoichoi. The character of Devi is deeply layered, and I’m thrilled to bring her story to life in such a gripping narrative."
