About: The film is a prequel to the 2022 hit Kantara, set in pre-colonial coastal Karnataka under the reign of the Kadamba dynasty. The story follows a tribal leader named Berme (played by Rishab Shetty) who leads the tribe of Kantara and faces off against the invading Bangra (or “Bangara”) kingdom led by King Kulasekhara.
