Raakhee Gulzar starrer Aamar Boss gets its teaser launched
Kolkata/IBNS: The teaser of Raakhee Gulzar starrer upcoming Bengali film Aamar Boss has been unveiled by Windows Productions.

Directed by the director duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, the film marks the comeback of veteran actress Raakhee Gulzar into the Bengali film circuit.
Apart from Gulzar, the film features Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Sauraseni Maitra in the lead.
The teaser gives audiences a compelling look at the two contrasting sides of Animesh Goswami, played by Shiboprosad Mukherjee.
On one hand, he is the affectionate, doting son who lovingly feeds his mother after returning from work. On the other, he emerges as a stern and seemingly toxic boss in his workplace.
This duality sets the stage for an emotionally charged narrative that delves deep into family bonds and workplace dynamics.
However, the biggest twist comes at the end of the teaser—his mother, played by Raakhee Gulzar, is also an employee at his office.
This revelation adds another layer of intrigue, raising questions about how their personal and professional worlds collide.
The film has already garnered significant attention on the festival circuit. Aamar Boss was selected for the 55th International Film Festival of India’s (IFFI) Indian Panorama and earned a nomination for the prestigious ICFT- UNESCO Gandhi Medal.
It was also included in the Chennai International Film Festival by NFDC, solidifying its status as a film to watch out for.
Speaking about the film, Shiboprosad Mukherjee shared, "Aamar Boss is a deeply emotional story that celebrates the intricate bond between a mother and her son. Working with Raakhee Gulzar has been an absolute honor—she brings unparalleled grace and depth to the role, making the mother-son relationship feel incredibly real and heartfelt."
The film will be released in theatres on May 9.
