Forty-six years after Mrigaya was released, Mithun Chakraborty and another veteran Mamata Shankar are seen together on-screen through Projapati, which is jointly produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures and Bengal Talkies.
The film also stars actor Koushani Mukherjee in a key role.
The premiere of the film was held at the iconic Priya Cinema in Kolkata.
What did the lead actors, other stars say at the premiere?
Dev: A lot of Bengali films are releasing this Christmas. But we are overwhelmed to receive the positive reviews. I have always felt 'content is the king'. At present, word of mouth matters a lot.
