Lake Point Convent, Adrews High School, Khalsa Boys School enter finals in All india School Rowing Championship
Kolkata/IBNS: True to the expectation, Shivam Deb and Debam Deb of Lake Point Convent entered the final of Senior Boys Double Scull event defeating their challengers from Fututre Hope Foundation in the semi final at 49th All India Invitation School Rowing Championship, organised by Lake Club at Rabindra Sarovar Lake here on Friday.

In the title clash Lake Point, which have displayed fine shows winning all their league races in this meet earlier, will meet the winners of the other semi final between Khalsa High School "A" and Andrews High School "B".
Along with Lake Point, Andrew High School consisted of Romit Ganguly, Romit Toppo, Subham Paik and Bishnu Prasad Behera and Khalssa Boys School represented by Vivek Singh, Sonu Rawat, Rajdeep Manna and Ranjeet Kumar reached the final of Senior Boys Coxed Four event.
After disposing of Kalidhan Institution easily, Andrews High beat Future Hope Foundation in the semi final.
Khalsa High School on the other hand defeated Kalidhan Institutionin in the league and then beat National High School in the penultimate stage.
In the Junior Girls Double Scull Delhi Public School (DPS) "A", Modern High School (MHS), Future Hope Foundation (FHF) and Delhi Public School (DPS) "B" reached the semi final where DPS "A" will meet FHF and MHS will take on DPS "B".
In the semi finals of the same event for Junior Boys, St Lawrence High School will face Dhakuria Ram Chanddra High Schhol and South Point High School will take on Future Hope Foundation.
The Senior Girls Double Scull event saw Modern High School and South Point High School reachimg the semi final where they will lock horn against each other tomorrow (Saturday, June 8).
