No woman deserves this! Hardik Pandya explodes at paparazzi over girlfriend Mahieka Sharma’s shocking viral video
Mumbai/IBNS: Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has strongly condemned the behaviour of paparazzis after a video of his girlfriend Mahieka Sharma was filmed from an inappropriate angle and widely circulated online.
The viral clip showed Mahieka walking out of a restaurant in Bandra and descending a staircase, when photographers captured her from what Hardik described as a disrespectful and intrusive angle.
In a sharply worded Instagram story, Hardik wrote, “I understand that living in the public eye comes with attention and scrutiny — it’s part of the life I’ve chosen. But today something happened that crossed a line.”
He added, “Mahieka was simply walking down a staircase at a Bandra restaurant when paps decided to capture her from an angle that no woman deserves to be photographed from. A private moment was turned into cheap sensationalism.”

Calling for sensitivity, Hardik continued, “This isn't about headlines or who clicked what, it's about basic respect. Women deserve dignity. Everyone deserves boundaries. To the media brothers who work hard every day: I respect your hustle and I always cooperate.”
“But I’m requesting you all — please be a little more mindful. Not everything needs to be captured. Not every angle needs to be taken. Let’s keep some humanity in this game.”
Hardik and Mahieka made their relationship public earlier in 2025. Their first widely recognised public appearance came when they were photographed together at the Mumbai airport. In October 2025, Hardik shared vacation photographs featuring Mahieka, which many interpreted as the couple going “official.”
The duo have since been spotted celebrating festivals and performing traditional puja together.
Hardik was previously married to Serbian actress and model Natasa Stankovic. The couple, who share a son, Agastya, separated in 2024 after four years of marriage.
