Suryakumar Yadav, Dube help India beat USA by seven wickets to reach Super 8 stage of T20 WC

Despite losing Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli early, Indian batsmen kept their nerves tough and battled a spirited American squad to beat them by seven wickets in a group-stage clash of the T20 World Cup on Wednesday.


India reached the Super 8 stage of the tournament with the win.

With this win, India won all their group stage matches in the tournament so far, including the high-voltage clash against Pakistan.

After restricting the local team to 110 runs for the loss of seven wickets, India reached the winning target of 111 runs for the loss of three wickets.

The Nassau County Stadium witnessed a spectacle on Wednesday as Team USA faced the full force of Arshdeep Singh's bowling prowess, limiting the hosts to a mere 110/8 in a thrilling T20 World Cup showdown.

Nitish Kumar remained the top-scorer for the USA with his 27 runs knock.
Steven Taylor's played a gritty knock of 24 runs.
