Virat Kohli, Australian debutant Sam Konstas shoulder mid-pitch at MCG, heated argument follows
Melbourne/IBNS: India's cricket icon Virat Kohli and Australian debutant Sam Konstas were engaged in a heated argument after they crossed their path and shouldered each other mid-pitch at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on Thursday.

The incident occurred during the 10th over of Australia's inaugural innings in the Boxing Day Test.
As Kohli walked past Konstas, the two cricketers' shoulders brushed prompting Konstas to confront.
Kohli, who seemed equally agitated, turned back too and a heated argument started.
The umpires and Konstas' senior opening partner Usman Khawaja soon intervened and calmed the situation.
"Have a look where Virat walks. Virat's walked one whole pitch over to his right and instigated that confrontation. No doubt in my mind whatsoever."

Cutting across the confrontation, Konstas slammed his maiden Test half-century in just 52 balls.
Konstas scripted history by becoming the fourth youngest Test debutant for Australia.
Konstas slammed 60 from 65 balls powering Australia to a fiery start against India in the fourth Test in Melbourne.
