JRBT results: Over 24,000 candidates qualified, interview from December, Minister
The much awaited results of the Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT) published in the late night of Wednesday (November 30) and about 1.31 lakh candidates appeared in the examinations. Among them, more than 24,000 candidates have passed the examination for Group-C and Group-D posts. The result of the written examination has been published under Group-C, in 1:3 and under Group-D in 1:6 proportional rate.
The JRBT, the Directorate of Employment Services and Manpower Planning department through a notification said that JRBT run Multi-Tasking Staff (Group-D) and Group-C written examination s held on August 20 and August, 2021 last and the board on Wednesday night published the results with list of successful candidates’ provisionally qualified candidates for interview.
The entire sets of results of provisionally qualified candidates are available in the JRBT websites www.jrbtripra.com and www.employment.tripura.gov.in
While, addressing a press conference here at Civil Secretariat on Thursday morning Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) Minister Sushanta Chowdhury accompanied by Labour Minister Bhagaban Chandra Das, secretary of department Abhishek Singh and JRBT’s chairman Aditi Majumder said that the written examination for 4,910 posts of Group-C and Group- D was taken in August 20 and 22, 2021. Among them, more than 24 thousand candidates have passed the examination for Group-C and Group-D posts.
Chowdhury said that there are total 2,410 posts under Group-C. Among these, there are 1 ,500 LDC posts, 465 posts of Agri Assistant (except TAFS Grade-III), 236 posts of Junior Operator Pump and 209 posts of Junior Multi Tasking Operator.
There are a total 2, 500 posts under Group-D. The ICA Minister said that the next recruitment process will be soon informed elaborately through the department and hoped that from December first week or from the second week, the interview process for successful candidates will start. Prior to that, the documents of the passing candidates of the written examination will be examined by the department and the state government has decided that PRTC of the candidates will be given preference, said Chowdhury.
He added that the present state government has always believed in transparency. The result of JRBT is the result of a transparent recruitment policy and wished good luck to all the candidates having passed the examination in the coming days.
Speaking in the press meet, secretary of the department Abhishek Singh said that more than 1 lakh 31 thousand candidates took the examination, among which more than 24 thousand candidates have passed the examination. The results have been published in two of the department websites www.jrbtripura.com and www.employment.tripura.gov.in
It may be recalled here that on November 17 last after the cabinet meeting, the Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) Minister Sushanta Chowdhury during a media briefing said that the Council of Ministers decided to publish the results of the much-awaited JRBT examination within November and has published the results within the declared scheduled.
Candidates and opposition political parties CPI(M) and Congress had also staged demonstrations in the capital city demanding early publication of the results. And over the delay of publication of the results for over one year, resentment and frustration are brewing up among the appeared candidates over the dilemma of result and now, the government maintaining its commitment has published the results.
