ADG BSF reviews operational preparedness of border guards in Tripura
Ms. Sonali Mishra, the Additional Director General of BSF (Eastern Command) arrived at Agartala Tuesday on her four -days visit in the frontier state.
Patel Piyush Purusottam Das, IG of BSF’s Tripura Frontier received her followed by “Guard of honor” at Officers’ institute, Salbagan. IG BSF of Tripura Frontier briefed her about the operational preparedness of Tripura Frontier.
After briefing session, Ms. Sonali Mishra along with IG of Tripura Frontier departed for border of North Tripura and Dhalai district. She visited Border Out Post (BOP) Khantalang, R C Nath and M K Para and interacted with commanders and troops present on the ground and lauded their efforts of border guarding in tough conditions.
