BJP leaders visited violence affected Ampinagar, met all injured persons
A team of top leaders of BJP on Sunday visited GB Hospital and met all injured party workers, w=ho were suffered critical injuries after Tipra-Motha workers indiscriminately attacked them during victory celebration at Ampinagar on Saturday.
BJP’s spokesperson Nabendhu Bhattacharjee through a press statement said that a delegation of the party led by state unit president Rajib Bhattacharjee on Sunday visited violence affected areas and met the family members of all injured persons.
The BJP delegation including vice-president of the party Patal Kanya Jamatia, president of ST Morcha Bikash Debbarma and MLA Ranjit Das after visiting the areas said that miscreants of Tipra-Motha has organized the attacks on their party supporters and in that indiscriminate attack, at least 15 persons were suffered injuries and among the injured persons, four were referred to GB Hospital after their conditions were deteriorated.
The statement said that the visiting delegation has also appraised the top leaders of the party and given a detailed description of the incident.
The statement added that the party has identified the miscreants and has also filed specific FIR against all miscreants. The party’s statement also enquired about the health status of all injured persons and strongly condemned the brutal attacks on BJP workers.
