BJP Mahila Morcha starts counter campaign against oppositions

Addressing a press conference here at state BJP headquarters on Saturday afternoon, party’s state general secretary Papiya Datta accompanied by MLA Kalyani Roy and state president of Mahila Morcha Jharna Debbarma said that issuing two gang rape incidents, the opposition parties are trying to influence the people with their presence for their agenda based politics.
Speaking in the press meet, Papiya Datta said that after decade long misrule by Left parties have already lost their support of common people across the state and just few months before the assembly elections through their poll gimmicks, oppositions are trying to tarnish the image of the pro-people state government as they have no issue against the government. &qotSeeing the desperation of opposition parties, its very clear that these are the attempts to divert the attention of common people over developmental activities of the state government,"said Datta.
MLA Kalyani Roy, mentioning the black days of the Left Front regime and high rate of crime against women, said that their party strongly condemned the both incidents and that police administration are acting as per law. She said that the government and their party will not compromise with any kind of crime against women.
Mentioning the propaganda politics of opposition CPI(M) and Congress by involving the name of a son of state’s minister with Kumarghat incident, they after confirming and getting all evidences, there are no presence minister’s son with that incident and only to tarnish the image of good governance , opposition parties are now with their maligning campaign.
In the afternoon, hundreds of supporters and workers of Mohila Morcha condemning the rule of opposition parties and their conspiracy against the state government, organized a mass protest rally in Agartala city.
While speaking with media persons, president of Mohila Morcha, Jharna Debbarma said that their government and the party will not spare any miscreant involved with such heinous crime. Admitting the involvement of a vice-Gram Pradhan with the Kalyanpur incident, Debarma said that ruling BJP will suspend him within a short period and the party workers of Kalyanpur are searching him round the clock to detain the miscreant for police action. She said that BJP has a clear concept, if any party workers are involved with any kind of anti-social activities, the party will not allow them to continue their political activities.
Mentioning the zero tolerance policy of the state government, Ms Debbarma said that they are very much confident over police investigation and soon everything will be cleared out, but maligning the ruling party with the intention of dirty politics is not the right thing.
