CM criticizes opposition's INDI alliance for misleading people
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Saturday slammed the opposition parties for misleading the people in the name of the INDI alliance and emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is constantly working for the overall welfare of the country.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is constantly working for the overall welfare of the country and its people. He is determined to deliver the developmental work of the government to the last person of the society. People have confidence in the Prime Minister in terms of developmental work. The Opposition alliance INDIA bloc is not right. They are misleading people. With the blessings of the people, the BJP candidates will win with huge votes in both seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” said Dr. Saha.
Dr Saha said this while participating in door-to-door campaign in Sonamura Nagar Panchayat area of Sepahijala district on Saturday in support of BJP nominated candidate Biplab Kumar Deb in West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency.
“Wherever I am going for campaign, I am receiving a huge response. People everywhere are responding well to BJP. The Prime Minister is always engaged in the service of the people. He is giving guarantees for the implementation of public welfare work. Even today many people responded to our call in the padyatra held in Sonamura. From here, it is clear that people will give their verdict in favor of the BJP,” he said.
Dr Saha also said that the opposition is confusing and misleading people in the name of the INDI alliance.
“What else can I say about the opposition alliance? They named it the India Alliance. It is slowly breaking down. They are running with one policy in West Bengal, one policy in Delhi, one policy in Tripura. And it cannot be called an alliance. They are actually misleading people in the name of the alliance. I am sure nothing will work with this alliance,” he added.
MLA Kishore Barman, Youth leader Nabadal Banik, and other leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party accompanied the Chief Minister in the election campaign.
