CM meets President, Home, Defence, Finance ministers and JP Nadda
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday through a whirlwind visit at New Delhi has paid a courtesy visit to the President of India Smt.Droupadi Murmu and few top leaders of the country including Home Minister Amit Shah.
After taking oath as Chief Minister of the second BJP-IPFT government on March 8th last, the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday visited Rasthrapati Bhavan in New Delhi and paid a courtesy call to the President.
Chief Minister through a tweet said that “Paid a courtesy visit to Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji in New Delhi today at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Grateful to Hon’ble President for her blessings and good wishes in my second tenure as Chief Minister of Tripura.”
Later, Dr Saha also met the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman . The Chief Minister has also met the national BJP president J P Nadda and highlighted people’s gladness over the formation of the second BJP government.
Chief Minister tweets said “Called on Hon’ble Union Minister for Defence Shri Rajnath Singh Ji in New Delhi. He conveyed his warm regards to the sisters & brothers of Tripura. Gratitude to Hon’ble Union Minister for the continued support of Govt of India towards the development of Tripura.”
Dr Saha tweeted “Glad to meet Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs & Cooperation Shri Amit Shah Ji at his residence in New Delhi. Hon’ble Union Minister assured all possible support for development in #Tripura & also conveyed his warm regards to everyone in the State.”
In another tweet Dr Saha said that “Paid courtesy visit to Hon’ble Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Smt Nirmala Sitharaman Ji in New Delhi. Hon’ble Union Minister conveyed her warm wishes to the people of #Tripura & assured all possible support to the state.”
Dr Saha has also met the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad K Sangma and his deputy chief Minister and tweeted “Met with Hon’ble Chief Minister of #Meghalaya Shri Conrad K Sangma Ji & Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Prestone Tynsong Ji in New Delhi. I congratulated them for the victory in recently held assembly elections in Meghalaya.”
