Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha in his whirlwind visit to New Delhi on Wednesday after signing a MoU with AIIMS and meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also met Vice President, C.P. Radhakrishnan and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Chief Minister sharing details through a ‘Facebook’ post in his meeting with the Vice President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan in New Delhi, said “I once again conveyed my heartfelt congratulations to him on his well-deserved election to this esteemed office. His visionary leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service will continue to inspire us all. I also extended a cordial invitation to the Hon’ble Vice President to visit Tripura for the darshan of Maa Tripura Sundari.”

Chief Minister in another social media post a after his meeting with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at Rail Bhavan in New Delhi  on Wednesday said “We discussed several key initiatives in a step towards strengthening the vision of Viksit Tripura, Viksit Bharat by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

The Chief Minister discussed and urged the minister for initiation of Vande Bharat train between Agartala and Guwahati, doubling of railway tracks, running electric trains, new and upgraded coaches on long distance routes and maintained railway stations.

He also discussed for new building for TFTI and development of Film City. Further initiations and development of Call Center’s and enhanced cyber security hub.
