CM Saha meets Lt Governor of Delhi to get 3rd Tripura Bhavan’s land
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday met the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Binoy Kumar Saxena and discussed in detail about setting up another Tripura Bhavan in Delhi. The new Bhavan is likely to be built at Dwaraka area in Delhi. The Chief Minister in a tweet message said he has discussed with the Lieutenant Governor about the availability of the land and other related matters.
Large number of people from the state goes to Delhi for different works or treatment purposes but don’t get accommodation in Tripura Bhavans due to non-availability of room in the two existing Tripura Bhavans. The Chief Minister in his message also said his government has taken the initiative to solve this problem and to ensure that the people of the state get accommodation in Delhi.
The Chief Minister on Friday returned back to Delhi from Jaipur in Rajasthan where he attended a conference on Dam Safety and investors meet. The conference was inaugurated by the Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar. He also attended a meeting with the industrialists and traders of Rajasthan and invited them to invest in Tripura.
Later, on the day the Chief Minister also met Union Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Skill Development, Electronics & Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar and Union Minister of State for Law & Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal and discussed various matters related to the state’s development.
