CM stresses on timely completion of all TUDA projects maintaining standard quality
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday asked the authorities of Tripura Urban Planning and Development Authority (TUDA) to complete all the flats are being constructed under township projects at the earliest by maintaining standard quality.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday chaired a review meeting of the TUDA at Civil Secretariat and during the meeting CM specifically asked the authorities to resolve all the problems, which are becoming obstacles for timely completion of all township projects. The Chief Minister advises that the harvesting of rainwater should be made in all flats.
The TUDA at present constructing the flats at Kaman Chowmuhani area near Vivekananda market and a township project at Kunjaban area of Agartala.
During the review meeting authorities of TUDA have highlighted the present status of construction and has also given details of initiatives being taken for development of city areas.
The Chief Minister said that there is a good trend of purchasing residential flats in city areas and asked authorities to take proper steps for marketing of TUDA’s flats and has also stressed on implantation of proper conditions to maintain the property rights of all owners.
He also advised the authorities to implement the Prime Minister’s ‘GhatiShakti’ project and ordered the authorities to take steps for early completion of Light House projects , which are under construction at border Gul Chakkar area. The meeting has also discussed the appointment of a finance adviser for smooth implementation of all projects.
The commissioner of TUDA, Tamal Majumder through PowerPoint presentation gave details of the present status of township projects of Vivekananda, Kunjaban, Lighthouse and present status of ADC’s projects.
It may be recalled here that under Vivekananda market township project, altogether 48 flats through G plus four are under construction and booking of all flats has also been completed. Under the Light House project, a total of 1000 flats would be constructed and beneficiaries have also been selected to give them residential flats at affordable prices. Majumder during his presentation also highlighted the future plans of TUDA and said that for urban development, the ADC has so far sanctioned Rs. 530.54 crore .
During the review meeting, the secretary of Urban Development department Abhishek Singh, secretary of IT department Kiran Gitte, secretary of CM, Dr P K Chakraborty and member of TUDA Swapan Saha were also present.
