He said that Congress is the only party to respect the 60% of anti-BJP voters who have sacrificed a lot, but few have an agenda and wanted to be a kingmaker , which gave the mileage to BJP.
BJP won the elections only for division of anti-BJP votes, which has created obstruction over aspiration of state’s people, said Sudip and added that the Congress will play the role of constructive opposition and the seat adjustment among the Left parties and Congress has accepted, which does not come into reality because of hidden agenda. “We are failed because we were unable to consolidate the anti-BJP votes in a single platform,” said Sudip and added that CPI(M), Congress and Tipra-Motha will join hands and will raise the issues related to the people of Tripura.
He added that like people of Tripura they also upset and their war against the oppression rule of BJP will continue and they are not giving up politics and the fight between 33 (BJP-IPFT MLAs) and 27 (CPI (M)-11-Congress-3 and Tipra Motha-13) will continue both inside the assembly and outside the assembly.
After the official swearing in Tipra-Motha chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarma also spoke to media persons and said that his party can not wait whole life for appointment of the promised ‘interlocutor’ by Union Home Ministry to go into the demands and grievances of the tribal people of Tripura.
“It is a day of pride that all legislators of Tipra-Motha took oath in their mother language, which sends a message to the entire Northeast and to be proud of your community and your mother language,” said Pradyot.
