Critical surgery in GB hospital in Agartala saves precious life, CM congratulates medical team
A critical surgery performed by a medical team in the GBP Hospital, the prime referral government healthcare facility in Tripura, saved a precious life.
The critical surgery was performed on Wednesday morning. An iron rod that was pierced through the neck and mouth of a person in a freak accident was removed successfully. The team of doctors were Dr. Tanmoy Deb MS ENT, Dr. Tarun Guha , Dr. Satyakam, Dr. Sayantan Rudra Pal and the anaesthesia team was headed by Dr. Vaskar Majumder, Dr. Bidhan Das , Dr. Biswajit Sutradhar performed the critical surgery successfully.
The patient- Krishnadhan Podder, resident of Dukli area of Agartala and a driver by profession, is stable now. The Chief Minister Prof. (Dr) Manik Saha has congratulated the entire medical team for this achievement.
Meanwhile, the critical surgery has not only brought smiles to the patient and his family but also reflected the improved healthcare system of Tripura.
