Entire Tripura cabinet visits a private hospital to meet their ailing colleague Sushanta Chowdhury
The entire cabinet of the state government led by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha through a move of compassion on Thursday visited the privately run ILS hospital to meet ailing Minister Sushanta Chowdhury who had fallen sick in his office chamber on Tuesday last.
All the ministers and the Chief Minister spoke to Sushanta as well as doctors treating him in the hospital and enquired about his treatment process and his latest health condition. They were assured by senior doctors at the hospital that the condition of the ailing minister is very good and improving rapidly soon he will return home.
Later, Chief Minister speaking with media persons said that after Sushanta Chowdhury was admitted they visited the hospital separately and enquired about his health condition. On Thursday, after the cabinet meeting, all the council of ministers arrived at the hospital and enquired about his health condition, said Dr Saha and added that now Chowdhury is very well and in absolute fine condition.
Possibly, the doctors will be released from the hospital on Thursday evening, said Dr Saha and hoped that soon Chowdhury will join them for the service of the state’s people.
It may be recalled here that Chowdhury on Tuesday had gone to Udaipur’s Mata Tripura Sundari temple with his followers and after offering prayer, Chowdhury returned to his office chamber at Civil secretariat and suddenly fell sick. He had to be admitted to ILS hospital immediately and, according to the latest information, he is recuperating from his sickness.
