‘Kalyanpurian’ celebrates Teachers’ Day, felicitated students, teachers

“Kalyanpurian”, a social organization on Sunday observed the Teachers’ Day and felicitated meritorious students at Sukanta Academy auditorium in Agartala.
The organization through a press statement said that through the colourful and vibrant programme, altogether 117 members of “Kalyanpurian” participated in the programme under the presidency of Pradip Kumar Das.
After floral tributes at the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was a respected scholar and the second President of India, who believed that teachers are the true pillars of society.
Secretary of the organization, Dr Tapas Kumar Sarkar said that during the celebration, they have also felicitated 11 renowned teachers including President Awardee teachers.
